Ways of Working: Small Team Methods, A Hybrid In Person and Virtual Event
Agenda:
As recommended by the PMBOK 7 Principles, it is essential to recognize and tailor to context when choosing a way of working. In the private sector, Scott Rainey is seeing a wide range of ways of working around Agile and Waterfall. He reports that there is a new prevalence of smaller, more targeted teams, and PODS. These patterns are instances of Disciplined Agile as described in multiple references in found on PMI.org. Scott will show us the underlying dynamics behind this small team development and explain why this approach is the most suitable way of working for multiple business scenarios. In doing so, he will describe the contexts for focusing on value (another PMBOK 7 principle) more quickly by assembling small capable teams.
